Soleil from Knitty: Spring 2005

Yarn: Plymouth Yarn Royal Bamboo color #13 (7 skeins for size 33 on size 6 Susan Bates circular needles)

Started July 9 and finished August 25, 2006 (the agony)

Comments: This yarn was very splitty and slippery to knit with but made a beautiful fabric. The first time I made this pattern I used Wilflower DK and the sweater came out smaller. Perhaps this yarn stretched a bit more in the blocking. Here we see how trick photography (and a very good friend) can make anything look good:

This is how the sweater looks when I am standing up. Girls, sometimes gravity is a good thing (but only if you are lying down).
