Aunt Grace Wall Hanging

Pattern: Wall Hanging designed by Bloom Creek for Marcus Brothers (click on link for free pattern)

Materials: Kit purchased at the Quilt Shop at Vac'n Sew in Conway, NH, using 5 inch charm squares from the Aunt Grace 15th Anniversary Collection by Judie Rothermel and other 30's reproduction fabrics.

Techniques: Machine piecing, machine quilting

Comments: I felt that the charm square collection did not offer enough yellow and orange so I added some. The border differs the pattern because I didn't square up my blocks before piecing. After quilting it, I felt like it needed a little something extra, so I added pearl buttons to the center of the colored blocks.
